Tell us what you are picturing
Call the yard, or send the details and we will come out and walk the property with you. No pressure, just honest answers.
Reach us directly
The fastest route is the phone. If it is easier to write it down, use the form and give us enough detail to be useful: which part of the property, what bothers you about it, and roughly when you want it done.
Anaheim, CA. Serving Orange County, and parts of Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.
Locally owned. Financing available. Licensed and insured, documentation provided before work starts.

Useful things to mention
None of this is required, and you do not need to have thought it through before calling. It just makes the first visit more productive.
Whether anything floods, puddles or stays soft after rain, and roughly where. Whether the property is governed by an HOA or a design review committee, because in much of this county it is and it shapes what can be approved. Whether you have plans, a survey or a plot map. Whether there is anything you already know is failing: a cracked driveway, a wall that has started to lean, irrigation that has stopped covering.
And the practical one: how you want to use the space. A garden built for a family with young children and a dog is a different garden from one built for two people who entertain. Both are straightforward once we know which we are building.

Where we work from
We are based in Anaheim and most of our work is across Orange County, with jobs north into Los Angeles County and inland into San Bernardino County. See the full list of towns or the gallery.
What happens after you get in touch
We arrange a time and come out
Usually within a few days. We walk the whole property rather than the one corner you called about, because the corner is often a symptom of something happening elsewhere on the lot.
We look at the boring things first
Grade, drainage, soil, access, and where water goes in a heavy December. Those decide what is possible and what it costs far more than the choice of paver does.
You get it in writing
An itemised scope with base depths, materials and drainage named, so you can compare it line by line against any other bid you are holding.
No follow-up pressure
If the number is not right or the timing is wrong, that is fine. We are not going to ring you every week. Come back when you are ready.
What we can take on
Planting and irrigation, artificial turf, paver and stone hardscape, patios, concrete flatwork including driveways and slabs, retaining walls in block or stone, masonry such as veneer columns and seat walls, pergolas and patio covers, fire features, low-voltage landscape lighting, seasonal holiday lighting, and the site groundwork an accessory dwelling needs.
Most projects combine several of those, which is the reason we keep all the trades in house rather than subcontracting the concrete to one company and the block to another. The finishes line up where two materials meet because the same crew built both sides of the joint.
We will also tell you when something is not worth doing, or when the sensible order is different from the one you had in mind. Drainage before decoration is the most common version of that conversation.
If you are comparing us against another bid
Get both scopes side by side and compare the parts you cannot see. Base depth under each surface and how it is compacted. Whether drainage is included, where it runs and where it discharges. Footing sizes on any wall or structure. Slab thickness and joint spacing on concrete. Whether demolition and haul-away are in the number or excluded.
Half of an apparent price difference usually resolves once that comparison is done, because the cheaper bid turns out to be describing a lighter job rather than the same job for less.
We are happy to walk you through ours line by line, including the parts where we are more expensive and why. If another contractor has quoted something we did not, ask us about it. Sometimes they are right and we will say so.
Before you call
What happens after I get in touch?
We arrange a time to come out and walk the property with you. We look at the whole lot, the grade and where water goes, and talk through what you are picturing. A written scope follows.
Is the visit really free?
Yes, and there is nothing attached to it. No pressure, no obligation, just honest answers.
How quickly can you come out?
Usually within a few days. Call and we will give you a real date rather than a vague one.
What should I have ready?
Nothing formal. Photographs of anything you like, a rough idea of what bothers you about the space, and any HOA or design review requirements if your property has them. If you have plans or a survey, those help.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. Not everything is a full back garden. Call and describe it and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.
Which areas do you cover?
Orange County primarily, plus parts of Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County. The service areas page has the full list.
Can you work to a deadline?
Often, and we will tell you honestly whether a date is realistic before you commit to it. The things that move a schedule are permit and inspection timing, concrete cure time, and weather during the wet months. None of those can be compressed by wanting them to be.
Do you provide references?
Yes, and we can usually point you at finished work near you. Ask when we visit and we will give you names of people whose projects were similar to yours.
What if I am still deciding between contractors?
That is normal and it is sensible. Get the scopes side by side and compare what each one says about base depth, drainage and footings, because that is where the difference in price usually sits. We are happy to talk you through ours line by line.
